2022 Spring Opening Day

Opening Day is scheduled for March 12, 2022.

• Arrival to Opening Ceremonies - Teams (managers, coaches and players) should plan to arrive by 8:45 AM to line-up for Opening Ceremonies and should meet their manager and coaching staff along the warm up area (to the right of Field 1).
• Opening Ceremonies - the main ceremony will take place on Nelson Field 1 from 9:00-10:00 AM. Opening Ceremony will include a brief Welcome by the President and Board, introduction of all the teams, the National Anthem and first pitch to kick off the season! And consider sticking around to watch games beginning at 10:30 AM and 11:00 AM to support our players!  
• Snack Bar - our Snack Bar will be open during Opening Ceremonies! Please support our snack bar! (Cash and VenMo)
• Parking - will be highly impacted at Nelson during Opening Ceremonies; plan to arrive early.
• Safety - as a reminder, please do not leave valuables in your cars during this event (or during practice or games). Vacaville Girls Fastpitch is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
